The Teutoburg Forest runs right through the middle of the Bielefeld urban area. This is quite unusual for a city with over 300,000 inhabitants. The city centre lies north of the forest. In the forest, in the Gadderbaum district, there is an old quarry that has not been in use for a very long time. It is called the Halleluja quarry ('Halleluja-Steinbruch') and it is used today by sport climbers for training. But in the morning shortly after sunrise nobody is here yet. I used the early hour for some photos using the Fujifilm GFX 50R together with the Fujinon GF 4/ 23 mm R LM WR lens.
