The 'Navam Maha Perahera' is held each year on the full moon day in February near the Beira Lake in the heart of Sri Lankas capital Colombo. The parade - one of Sri Lankas most colorful buddhist processions - is organized by the Gangaramaya Temple. The photos in this gallery were taken during a holiday trip to Sri Lanka in 2010.

Madeira is a Portuguese island in the Atlantic Ocean, a few hundred miles off the African cost. This is a small gallery with black and white pictures from the 1990s. Analoge work.

Both photographs are showing the same flower. The first one fresh and blooming, the second one a week later. Arranged and shot on my kitchen table in March 2009.

'Kunsthalle' (Museum of Fine Arts) and replica of 'Final Wooden House' by the Japanese architect Sou Fujimoto. The original building is located in Japan close to the city of Kumamoto. Since 2012 an artist authorized scale true replica is part of the sculpture park in front of the 'Kunsthalle' (Bielefeld).
